Does it matter how you dress?
See these images quickly, and we'll catch up on it in some minutes.
Guyyyyyyyysssss!
I don't know why I made that scream anyways
but let me say silently, ‘Happy 2025’
Welcome to Fashion Friday, and welcome to
Fashioning with Tee.
Tee took a tea break but she's back from the
Tea break. How's did she meet you?
Today, I'll be writing you on the question my
headline holds.. ‘Does it matter how you dress?’
I have a friend who once had the mentality
that says ‘it doesn't matter how I look or what I wear, It only matters what I
know’.
He has walked with me for two years and after
a conversation as such I'm about to have with you, He has this to say;
"2 years back, I didn't believe in the idea of clothes and shoes or men accessories. I like to be ordinary, if that's the word. Walking with treasure has shifted my thoughts to redefine excellence in look.
Now, I look the excellence she speaks about. I confidently know what clothes to buy and what accessories to merge. Still learning, but it has been a great improvement"
But wait, does dressing good actually matter?
Should people respect me as a person or my
good looks?
Come close, even if you have more seemingly
justifiable questions to ask, how you appear before people matters. The message
you speak with your dressing matters.
What you wear play a role on your mood. Let me
show you something real quick. This is especially for ladies. Sometimes, you
have all the clothes in wardrobe out, you try 3 to 5 outfits checking your
mirror and struggling with which one to rock.
You tried out 5 outfits, just for you to
conclude on the first of five.
Why?
You're necessarily not looking for a cloth to
cover you up, you're however looking for a feel, a vibe, an atmosphere that
makes you feel alive.
Now, if your choice of outfit can affect your
mood, then it's easy to say what you wear can also have an effect on other
people, including how they perceive you.
Must I dress like a god before I'm perceived
as a well noted human?
Yes.
We've got to meet the container before the
content, and what the container looks like can tell what kind of content it'll
hold. This tells then if you worth people's attention in finding or not.
You don't look good to create a false
impression. You are simply dressing your message and making an excellent
statement of yourself.
There are thoughts you've held dear about
people because of how you've seen them appear.
You know who to ask certain questions because
of your perception on what they wear.
This Isn't to be judgmental. The message is
this;
The clothes you wear and the carriage you give
it will change the way people hear what you've got to say. You will pass the
message that says ‘I'm below you’ or ‘I'm different’
●
You dress your message and we're
left with no choice than to hear.
You might have a change of decision on your
outfit for the coming week. It's okay.
