SHIRTS YOU SHOULD OWN AS A MAN
Hello tribes of tee, how has the week been?
You’re a lady reading?
Come on, don’t shut down. I won’t tell you what you need this for, but you can be sure you know a gentleman who needs. Safe to say ladies and gentlemen and gentlemen right? Let’s have some fashion lessons together.
Today, I’ll be walking you through shirts you should own as a man, and a combination to make it work.
Amongst other styles are these essential ones.. (see the attached image)
Essential because these are go to wears that can be combined easily to give a jaw dropping look.
Let’s have an analysis with the images attached;
1. 1. Cable knit sweaters:
Cable knit sweaters are patterned (just as the lines are patterned on the first image), knitted sweaters are made of cashmere, wool, cutton or synthetic yarns.
It’s safe to call it another type of sweatshirt. However, it doesn’t end in being a sweatshirt/giving warmth for cloth. You can style this wearing short a sleeved white shirt if you’re going with the exact color the image has, and a black or white trouser of any kind. Office pant, cargo pant, jean, baggy trousers etc
2. Simple button up shirts:
This is the usual long sleeved shirt everyone probably knows and perhaps own. You can style this in different ways with befitting ‘office pants’. While this kind of shirt is fondly worn with corporate pants, you can play around more ways in wearing to give a different feel for the purpose of your event. (maybe we can consider that someday if you make a request for it).
For further corporate styling, you can rock your button up shirt with suit/waist coat/ lapel pin/ tie/a sleeveless V necked sweatshirt.
3. Simple T shirt:
We call this ‘plain tees’. It’s that casual wear you change into after work for relaxation or when you decide to take a stroll or have your morning walk. There are however few more ways you can wear this to serve more purposes. Let’s consider few ones here:- You can style with your denim jacket and trouser
- You can wear with your cargo pants and sneakers
- You can rock with your suit
- You can wear with your plain tee tucked into your baggy trouser.
4. Polo shirts :
These categories of shirt are also almost regarded as ‘casual’ and you can style every possible way you get to style your tees.
5. Linen shirts :
Linen shirt is almost synonymous to your simple button up shirts. The difference between these two is that the linen fabric shirt is stronger and durable. This shirt can be styled the exact way you style your simple long sleeved shirts.
You can take this a step higher styling with a blue or black denim jacket depending on the color, but this time, you can have your shirt unbuttoned. Also note that a linen shirt comes in both short and long sleeves.
Let’s take a pause here for the moment. I’m sure it’s been a beautiful ride.
Do well to share this with a friend or two or three! I’d write you again you very shortly.
Enjoy the weekend, and I hope this helps you in getting your wardrobe set for the coming week.
You rock!
